Happy Spring. I’m writing to announce that I recently completed my very first solo album. The project is called Peace Fortress and the album is titled New Moon.
I released a single today called Seagulls. You can stream it on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, and the rest.
I am offering pre-orders of the vinyl and a digital download of the entire album here.
I will be celebrating the release of the full album with a performance at The Fallser in East Falls on July 18th. Tickets and more information available here.
The majority of this album was recorded in one night with me on bass and the superb trio of Adrian Harpham on drums, Logan Roth on keyboards, and Will Brown on guitar. I then took all of those tracks and whittled them down to their most essential forms and added parts from some special guests, including:

Freddie Berman on percussion
Monique Brooks Roberts on violin
Ron DiSilvestro on drums
Brent Edmonson on bass, cello, and string and horn arrangements
Chi Park Edmondson on violin and viola

I love making music and recordings with other artists. It is truly one of the great joys of my life. This project has special meaning because it includes music that I’ve loved but have never found an outlet for in any existing project, so I made one. My concept was to blend influences of surf rock, soul, and psychedelic music into a groovy soup for you to enjoy.
