Here’s track #2 off of “Golden Apple.” This song seems to be a favorite for many friends of mine. It’s a lot of fun to play, since the groove bounces along nicely. Here are a couple of production notes about this song:
The guitar solo was recorded at half speed and then sped up. It was recorded after the piano, where we asked Keyboard Wizard Logan Roth to take us to Vienna with some baroque vibes. Thanks for humoring us, Logan!
The late addition of the Mellotron in the verses really enhances the song. It’s subtle but makes a big difference.
