I love all of the songs on this album, but “The Lucky” has remained a favorite for me from production through release. I just feel like there are little bits of musical candy sprinkled throughout. Is this song about the last cigarette in a pack, or a donut? You decide. My absolute favorite part of this track is the clav part in the bridge. And the end whistle, of course.
